About us
Maria’s expertise in European architecture and historic restoration pairs seamlessly with Christopher’s hands-on mastery of framing and large-scale construction. Together, they create architecturally refined, structurally superior homes. Maria’s design vision and precision, combined with Christopher’s technical expertise, ensure every project is both innovative and built to last.
Maria Zarari
Maria, born in Thessaloníki, Greece, grew up in a family construction business led by her father, a Civil Engineering professor. She studied Chemical Engineering at Aristotle University and earned a PhD from Imperial College London. In London, she founded a property business managing and renovating over thirty properties, restoring historic buildings while adapting them for modern living. Her expertise in optimizing space in dense urban areas shaped her approach to design. After relocating to College Station, Texas, she embraced the opportunity to build from the ground up, finding local construction methods familiar but without the complexities of historic renovations.
Christopher Lafollette
Christopher, born in Dallas and raised in Houston and Brazos, started working in construction at a young age. By 25, he was a licensed water well driller and later became a framer in Bryan-College Station. In 2005, he moved his framing business to Louisiana, obtaining a state contractor’s license and building over 1,000 homes, hotels, and restaurants. He also specialized in restoring historic buildings in New Orleans’ French Quarter. A skilled welder and fabricator, he brings decades of hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction, with a passion for craftsmanship extending to restoring classic vehicles and building race trucks.
